This is something that we have learned in the decades since The Christian East African Economic Development Trust (CEED) was founded. This is why water has become the cornerstone of our strategy in carrying out our mission.
CEED is a non-profit organization committed to developing and maintaining sustainable income-generating projects in poverty-stricken areas of the world. CEED brings together the abundant possibilities of American financial resources with the natural resources of nations situated along the Equator.
CEED has been bringing clean water to villages in East Africa for over 20 years. Each well is drilled by our expert team and then handed over to the village to be cared for into the future.
CEED offers employment and management opportunities to East African nationals and oversees its clean water, agriculture, and economic development projects through an all-volunteer Board that provides leadership and vision.
CEED projects are funded through private donations and foundation grants. We rely on the generosity of our friends and partners to keep being able to bring clean water to the people of East Africa.
